Casey Franken, CFP
Wealth Management Advisor
Casey brings his passion for wealth building and guiding clients in a collaborative approach. Casey has been a practicing financial planner since November 2012 and attained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in April 2015. Casey graduated from the University of South Dakota with a double major in finance and economics.
One of his favorite quotes is “Once you stop learning, you start dying” by Albert Einstein. His goal is to provide advice in a common language and avoid industry jargon that can cause confusion.

Jeff Gordon
Principal/Senior Wealth Manager
Jeff started his career in 2007 at Merrill Lynch after serving as a Congressional staffer for former South Dakota Governor Bill Janklow. Jeff has been at IFAM Capital since its inception in 2014 and focuses on serving high net worth individuals and families. He is a graduate of the University of South Dakota.
Jeff and his wife Annie are lifelong residents of Sioux Falls and have three children together. Together they enjoy all things outdoors including fishing, camping, and running.

Jonathan Spitz
Assistant Vice President of Investor Relations
Jonathan is an Assistant Vice President of Investor Relations at Origin Investments where he is responsible for fundraising and business development activities associated with the firm’s Private Real Estate offerings. Jonathan’s responsibilities include expanding the firm’s investor base and serving the needs of our Registered Investment Advisor and high-net individual investors. Prior to joining Origin in 2020, Jonathan worked at Lakeside Bank where he provided financing solutions for commercial real estate projects throughout Chicago. He earned an MBA with a concentration in Real Estate Finance & Investment from DePaul University and Bachelor of Science with a degree in Finance from The University of Central Florida.

Michael O’Shea, CFA
Vice President of Origin Exchange
Michael leads Origin Exchange, the 1031 Exchange Platform for Origin Investments. Since entering the alternative investment industry in 2007, Michael has served in various capacities with real estate sponsors and has assisted in the syndication of more than $10 billion of commercial real estate, including over $500 million of 1031 tax deferred exchanges.
Michael earned an MBA, summa cum laude, with a dual concentration in Finance and Real Estate Investment from DePaul University and received his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University. Michael is also a CFA® charterholder.
Michael lives in Elmhurst with his wife Lauren and their three children Declan, Alice and Tristan. He enjoys golf, Chicago sports and spending time with his family.
